Eddie Jordan may have sold off his F1 empire, but he still has some thoughts about how the sport is run. He says Bernie Ecclestone is likely to remain at the helm of the GP racing, since the rival GPWC lacks credibility.

In an interview with Jordan said that most teams would probably end up siding with Ferrari, which has already agreed to the new Concorde Agreement, due to come into effect beyond 2007.

Throwing his weight behind Ecclestone’s Formula One Management, Jordan said: "Bernie Ecclestone is the only credible solution because the private teams would have great problems believing that the manufacturers would look after their needs and cares.”

The GPWC (Grand Prix World Championship) has offered dithering teams more of the revenue received from the sport and has promised affordable engines in the future series.

Not completely ruling out the rival series, Jordan added that any deal with the GPWC would have to be hugely beneficial to all parties concerned.
